What an exciting day! Took a taxi from the Nicolson home-away-from-home (thank you, thank you, thank you Carol and Alan!!!) and hopped on an early train to Edinburgh. The train left at PRECISELY 0730 hrs 00 min and whistled down the track stopping at Croy and Falkirk High along the way. It only took about an hour and I was pretty much alone in the car.
I took a cab from Waverly Station in Edinburgh to the Edinburgh University Pollock Residence. This is series of student residences clustered together near Dalkeith Road. Absolutely beautiful campus, as you can see in the pictures below.

The rooms are cozy. Not sure I would want to spend a whole semester here, but grateful to have this space for the month the Tattoo is on. Make good sense!
The grounds are maticulously kept
this is the area in the front of the Dorm and the bus that takes us to the Tattoo each day
This portion of the campus has a combination of residences from modern functional to historic. This building is about 50 meters from the building where we are billeted.
